What People Say About SmartWomen Connect

I recently attended the launch of SmartWomen Connect in Sydney. What a wonderful venue with an atmosphere buzzing with energy and conversation. I invited a few clients to this launch as there really is a need for senior females in business to meet and mingle and connect on a personal and professional level. I think you achieved this and more Fiona and am looking forward to seeing this grow.

SmartWomen Connect – all I can say is WOW! What a great concept – a community of like-minded professional women, from all walks of life and industry segments, collaborating and connecting, supporting one another to succeed. I attended the SmartWomen Connect launch event and the energy in the room was incredible – we were all there for the same purpose, to invest in ourselves but also support others to succeed in life and work.

Fiona’s objective to ‘build brilliance’ but also to restore ‘human connection’ in our lives definitely resonates for me. For anyone who needs a reason to stop in our busy world, take stock and recalibrate, and find purpose and passion – then SmartWomen Connect is for us!

SmartWomen Connect is a fantastic initiative for professional women. The energy at the inaugural breakfast was buzzing. The room was filled with women excited to make new connections with like-minded professionals and to have the opportunity to talk about their work. Fiona facilitated the breakfast with passion, humour and honesty. Bring on the next one!

I flew from Brisbane to attend Fiona’s SmartWomen Connect Corporate Launch last week. It was a superb opportunity to network with like minded women from all professional settings. Worthwhile cross-networking opportunities for senior professional women are few and far between. Fiona’s work is trying to bridge that gap and I am very excited to hear she is launching a Brisbane chapter in 2016!

I recently attended the “Smart Women Connect” breakfast organised by Fiona Craig (and Amanda). I really enjoyed Fiona’s presentation (she is a great presenter)!!!

As I listened to Fiona speak on a topic that I feel is at the ‘heart’ of a problem many women in business face….the lack of real ‘connections’ (relationships) in business. There were practical skills provided, which include interactive ‘workshops’ between attendees, which demonstrated, in a practical way, how we individually can affect change by learning new skills surrounding business and connecting. Some of the skill sets discussed focused on how to ‘ask for business”, improve our connections (relationships) and increase our enjoyment whilst doing business.

The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed with easy interaction between attendees, who were largely professional strangers at the outset, but not at the conclusion.

I would recommend “Smart Women Connect” to any business women, in any profession, as its a valuable resource for any professional women to learn new business and human skills, surrounding business, as well as make genuine business connections, all in the one forum!

I joined SmartWomen Connect this year to improve my business acumen and connect with like minded female professionals. I love the breadth of workshops and events organised. I have already seen positive effects in my business in a very short period of time. I would recommend Fiona and SmartWomen Connect to any professional women out there who wish to grow.
