Speaking in public is frequently ranked as one of the greatest fears people have. There’s so much that could go wrong!

You might forget your content; you might be a bag of nerves unable to make sense, never mind speak with authority; you might not know the answer to a question you get asked; you might run out of time; you might crack a joke and it falls flat…or, *oh the horror* you might be BORING.

All of these possibilities mean you play safe. You turn down opportunities to speak (and you certainly don’t seek them out), and if you have to do it, you do it reluctantly and with dread.

Being able to present and communicate your ideas in a coherent, cohesive and convincing way is a crucial career skill. Being able to do that AND engage and connect with your audience is a skill that will undoubtedly set you apart from others.

Whether you want to gain a standing ovation from an audience of thousands, or simply be more confident and articulate in the boardroom and business meetings, our November Smart Breakfast speaker Nick Harding can help.

Nick is a renowned speaker trainer having worked with leaders from some of Australia’s biggest companies like Westpac, Telstra and IAG. He has coached clients to speak at TEDx Melbourne, Vivid Sydney and South By South West (SXSW) in Texas.
